Symptoms leading to retirement
- Intention tremor, mainly in hands, that
- prevented typing with a computer, and autonomous use of spoon, fork,
toothbrush etc,
- started to calm down after a hidden infection was detected and cured,
and
- continued to cure when Tubilysin*, specific diet, as well as mental
and physical exercises were used.
- Flexor spasticity, that has
- prevented walking after it suddenly (overnight) developed from
vigorous extensor spasticity, which turned its direction,
- reduced dramatically after implantation of an intratecal medical pump
(feeding medicine directly to the spinal cord, through a cathetre),
- strengthened always during and shortly after infections, (pressure
wounds, blood poisoning (sepsis), surgical operations, etc.),
- loosened as a result of horse riding, use of a motomed (where
electricity cycles pedals), and stretching (using external help).
Mental or physical excitement, stress etc. worsen these
symptoms. So don't wonder if you see me using a wheelchair. On the other
hand, proper diet, relaxation and other mental and physical exercises,
and absence of infection ease them up. So don't wonder if you'll some
day see me walk.
