Webvi

Webvi is a tool for downloading and playing videos from popular video sharing webvites such as YouTube. There are two interfaces: a plugin for Video Disk Recorder (VDR), and a command line client.

Supported sites

Webvi is able to download videos from the following sites:

• Google Video (only videos hosted on otherwise supported server)
• Metacafe
• MTV3 Katsomo
• ruutu.fi
• Vimeo
• YLE Areena (rtmpdump-yle required)
• YouTube
