S-72.3410 Coding Methods (5 cr) P 2008 period III - Tutorials and Home Assignments

Home assignments will be published at latest a week before the deadline. Solutions to the home assignments will not be published, but (the) solutions are demonstrated at the deadline session. The tutorials will be published before and the tutorial solutions after the corresponding tutorial session.

Home Assignments

• The home assignments are to be solved individually. Cooperation is ok, but copying (when discovered) will lead to losing some amount of points.
• Use paper size A4 only.
• Write all of the following information on the first sheet:
  • Course code and name ("S-72.3410 Coding Methods")
  • Home assignment round (e.g., Home 1)
  • Your name
  • Your student number
• If you return multiple sheets, bind them together (with e.g. staples).
• Home assignments may be returned at the beginning of the deadline session. Alternatively you can return your answer in the course box outside the Communications Laboratory (S-building, 2nd floor, E-wing) by 10:00 on the day of the deadline.

Grading

Each homework consist of exercises worth of three points. 30% of total points are required to pass the course. It is possible to get extra points to the exam by doing more homework assignments, i.e.

• 60% of total points results in 1 extra points for the exam
• 90% of total points results in 2 extra points for the exam
