ISDN Telephony ActiveX OCX v1.2.1
DTMF, 3PTY, forwarding, suspend/resume, and more
see dev section, or download now (+docs)

ISDN G3 Fax ActiveX OCX v1.5
g3 fax works now - finally!
see dev section for details or download now (+docs)

New: OCX import info for Delphi users
get the required v1.5 fax OCX and TLB here (Delphi tested)

Last release: ISDNPhone v1.5.5 alpha
precompiled OCX and TLB, source + docs + demoprogs
(untested, and likely to be nonfunctional in some aspects)

Note: I'm not doing any further development on the OCX's, as I don't have ISDN any longer (since 2003). This means the current OCXs are "final" versions, even though they might need some further improvement...

About this page

Now that Teles finally has changed their customer support policy and offers free driver downloads (though currently you have to register for an user account at www.teles.de), this page has served its purpose. Now it's more on CAPI, CAPI & VisualBasic, and tech specs side.

AtelierWeb AW Capi control
A freeware CAPI control with interface similar to the one here, but much more features. There is also a AWCapi sample for Delphi. ActiveX source code and the Delphi component can be purchased. The compiled ActiveX is free.

Download GoldWave!
This sample editor is the first one to allow editing of ISDN u-law telephony audio! This program is essential if you want to write a telephone application! And, it's probably the best single-track sample editor for home users, so in any case it's worth downloading.

Here's another snd => wav converter source code in VB, no DLL required

Freeware. With many thanks to Mr W. Flegel for biggest parts of the source code, and conversion table! Some adaptions & C++ DLL (C) by me.

Currently, only ISDN-audio to 8bit PCM has been tested. Other functions might work too. For DLL function declarations see sample program source code.

new2.gif (111 bytes) ISDNPhone Telephony OCX 1.2.1 (~1,2 MB)
and interface documentation
('new' alpha v.1.5.5 bin+source also available)

Licencing: the user is granted a licence according to the terms specified under the GNU Library General Public Licence. Any commercial usage falling outside the terms specified in the LGPL requires permission from jwagner@cc.hut.fi. The full OCX source code, modified or not (but with the original comments intact!) must be included with the commercial product (on CD, disk, or other medium), and may not be sold, rented, and/or leased as a product of its own.

Features:

- full VB source code of OCX and two test progs
- precompiled (binary) OCX and test progs
- a couple of audio samples
- general-purpose test program
- three party conference 3PTY demo program
- caller ID for all call types
- additional infos about call origin
- ISDN controller and supplementary services info
- delay for answering phone calls
- playback and recording with start/stop
- DTMF detection and generation
- suspend/resume
- hold/retrieve
- three party conference
- call forwarding
- system clock updates to ISDN network time
- use phone number sub-address for short text messages
- shows received network 'Display' text messages
- manual data control, data can be passed to
client apps (t.ex. for DirectSound functions)
- more stable than previous versions

With the OCX it is very easy to write your own answering machine, or a caller ID and call logging software.
Download GoldWave from www.goldwave.com for audio conversion - probably the best single-track audio editor available for home users!

CAPI G3 Fax OCX 1.5.0, complete VB source included! - new interface docs

Licencing: the user is granted a licence according to the terms specified under the GNU Library General Public Licence. Commercial usage requires my (jwagner@cc.hut.fi) written consent.

G3 fax transitting and receiving now works. A sample program and a few sample .SFF fax files are included. To view recieved SFF fax files, you can download a free SFF viewer from www.isdn-tools.de. For converting images (TIFF) to fax files, get the fax tools from www.shamrock.de.
