FRR's largest weapons manufacturer was the Gorton, Kingsley and Thorpe Enterprises factory located on New Oslo. As the Clans descended upon this world the defenders quickly dismantled the factory and transported it to Satalice. But unfortunately the factory was later taken along with Satalice.

The manufacturer of 'home-made' tanks and personal weaponry was Benson and Bjorn was located on Spittal and taken by Clan Ghost Bear. The Clans did not consider the tanks to be very good and use them as live target practise for their 'mechs. The Ghost Bears also captured Amau Electronics on Trondheim.

Swedenberg Heavy Industries and Rasalhague Armor Works have both fallen to Clan Wolf. Both of them manufactured components for the factories to use. Also, GKT was in the process of building a new plant on Rasalhague but this plan never came through.

Also the facilities of Mjölnir Weapons have since fallen to the clans, Firm best known in Rasalhague for its part working on a first production models of the since widely accepted Streak SRM design.

This total lack of factories have forced FRR to use its limited economy to buy costly armaments from other states deplating it's already deplated economy even further, though negotiations on assitance of putting up an mech factory with the assistance of some out-of-faction funding and knowhow are in the air.

The Orestes Saab-Valmet Munitions Facility is striving to produce the much needed ammunitions, and some plans are afoot for enlarging the facility. At this moment it has been tooled to produce the most expensive to buy and hard to get ammunitions.
