In addition to standard crew accommodations, the Star Lords traditionally have 50 additional rooms to give DropShip crews a break from their cramped and uncomfortable living conditions. Aboard Norseman however roughly half of these have been converted to luxurious accomodations for the Elected Prince and his closest advisors, as well as a secondary tactical bridge to accomodate staging of larger military operations and analysis of systemwide operations.

The Norseman, flagship of the Kungsarme Navy, has been close to actual combat on several occasions. Having been the ship that Elected Prince Haakon Magnusson used to move during the roughest days of the struggle against the seemingly unstoppable Clan juggernaut. The Norseman was there when Elected Prince jumped to Satalice only to find it under clan attack, it was there to provide Elected Prince transport from the clan threat while the 1st Drak0ns, and among them Tyra Miraborg bought precious time for Prince to escape and equally so, for the whole Inner Sphere.
Norseman was modified by the New Avalon Institute of Science to include a Lithium Fusion Battery, doubling it's effective immidiate range. A priceless gift from the Insitute at the time, technology far ahead of its time.
Rumours and speculation:
An active rumour is that the Republic is looking to arm it's remaining JumpShips
with few fast AeroSpace fighters and fit them with nuclear devices to enable
them to take combat against warships to a new level.
However there exists much speculation over this possibility, after the apparent collapse of the Clan society structure. It is concievable, should it be used against them that they would abandon all the princibles they were adhering to. Atleast by ComStar observations.
