Hello there! You have just surfed to the very personal page of Janne Kalliola. That's me, by the way. I'm currently studying in Helsinki University of Technology (as you can see from the URL), doing my doctorate. If you want, you can always check my virtual cv. I have all kind of hobbies and other neat things, so I've collected them to another page. If you want to peep deeper inside my head, check out what I like and what I like not. I have an unusual nickname, but I won't be drifted away to tell you the story of the name. This is not the place nor the time. Meanwhile, enjoy(?) some pictures.
Picture Gallery I have looked a little bit different in different years and here you can see my transformation from a nerd to a geek. Lo and behold, I have started to smile when pictures are taken.
The first picture was taken when I was still in senior high school (or what ever 'lukio' means), the second one is from my military service (you can see there a happy second lieutenant). The third picture was taken for my latest passport. I had orange hair during the spring 1998 and the last picture was taken when I got back from my 'Grande European Tour' (London-Paris-Amsterdam). I have also had long hair, but currently I have only one picture of that time and I look so gruesome so that the scanner would probably break up. So I didn't even try to scan it. When I find pictures of that period, I'll include them, too. But until then you have to use your imagination (if you even care). I have one picture on my skin, too. Contact Information I used to live in a small single-room flat located in Otaniemi, but then I got a haircut and a real job, so now I'm living in a spacious flat with two rooms in Tapiola (the garden city of Espoo). As a free benefit from the apartment, I have also a postal address. But as always, I'd be more happy if you contact me through the net (so that I can ignore you easier).
